Capture the figure quickly, accurately, and confidently. Draw from male or female models each week. Measuring, webbing, value, foreshortening, the head, and gesture drills are emphasized to build strong, well-placed beginnings. This class features weekly demos of technique using simple materials.
Basic Drawing is helpful. Any model fees are extra.
Students need to purchase supplies for this class. A list of recommended supplies is available in the School Store located in room 217 of the Torpedo Factory. The store hours are 11am – 5pm, Monday through Sunday.
