David Culpepper was born in Alexandria, Virginia. In 2010 he received a BFA in Painting and Printmaking from Virginia Commonwealth University. David lived in Austin, TX from 2010-2021. While in Austin David was a founding member of Ink Tank Collective, Free Beer Podcast, and Fancy Fancy Studios and Gallery. His projects have been exhibited at Co-Lab Projects, Grayduck Gallery, MASS Gallery, and Pump Project. In 2021 David moved to Norfolk, VA and is the current Gallery and Exhibitions Manager at the Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art.
