Good for Beginners!
During this short course, students have the opportunity to plan and weave a table runner, utilizing various weaving techniques. The runner features a plain weave background with open lace variations. Students learn how to plan the project, warp a rigid heddle loom, and explore different hand manipulative techniques, including Leno, Spanish Lace, Brooks Bouquet, and Weft Float. Additionally, finishing techniques such as Hemstitch and Fringe Hem are covered.
The teacher will provide step-by-step instructions, demonstrations, as well as guidance and feedback to all students.
